Hello Folks.
This being my first project post I should probably Introduce myself. My name is Jason and I have no formal model making skills. Around 4 years ago a drunk driver obliterated my mailbox and I wanted to replace it with something unique and tough so I welded this...

The response was so cool that I welded 2 more for other folks around the town. Things settled down and I got a request to weld a Snowspeeder for a friend. Here is the result of that..

He loved the snowspeeder so I was convinced to tackle my Favorite Vehicle the AT-ST! This year I decided to take my stuff to a show and I purchased a booth at Planet Comicon. It took me over 9 months to weld 5 walkers but here are the results.
I know they aren't exact replicas but they are close enough for me.

They are all Steel and measure in at 34" tall and 40-45 lbs.
Thanks for looking. Please give feedback/constructive criticism.
Jason

Ah... Yes, quite nice! Good representations - no mistaking 'em - and clean welds; you've got some skills to go with your artistic vision. Great share!

Regards, Robert

Very cool, if our subdivision didn't have centralized mail boxes, I'd be all over one of those. But I would want a Death Star mailbox!

Those are cool. In your face Metal Earth!

They look awesome. Great letterboxes!

Fantastic job! :) I've rarely seen something as cool as this! :thumbsup

Holy crap, these are awesome!

Thank you guys. I was browsing the modeling forum and I am completely staggered by the amount of detail you can put into one of your models. I dont think I could ever get that lever of detail... or it would take me years to do in metal.

This is super cool!

Are you a boily by trade?

No sir. I am a Railroader who just likes to weld in his spare time. I started restoring cars and welding roll cages in to autocross cars.
