Modding a HFC Mauser C96 the proper way?

This may be a stupid question :)

Ive recently purchased a HFC Mauser C96 Airsoft Pistol, Todds Accessory kit and im 3d printing myself a scope.

Are there any good tutorials on the best practises on how to properly mod your Mauser? Im sure I can figure it out but there must be a proper 'way its done'?

Todds kit is for a Denix not a HFC, so youre going to have to go custom. There's youtube videos on how to disassemble so you can thread the mount. Also, the bull barrel wont fit as easily on the HFC, so that's going to have to be a custom job. The DEC TFA kit is for a HFC

Have you tried Shapeways? I've found a nice looking TFA kit based on the DEC TFA run:
