Things you're tired of seeing in movies

Someone falls or jumps off a bridge over a highway or railroad track and they conveniently land on the center of a soft open space in an open top trailer or freight car, every single freaking time!

How do you think most of us get to work?! ;)

...every time someone is shown a picture in a file of some international spy or terrorist, they always have a certain look...

And they are ALWAYS looking in the opposite direction or cautiously over their shoulder

Why does no one ever have any locks on their phones? Knock out the bad guy, pick up his smartphone, and it's just magically not locked? Really? The guy was a multi-level terrorist with lord knows what connections, and is dumb enough to not have a pattern lock or anything?

On a similar vein, all the times the hero sits down at the control panel or computer interface, or anything like that, and instantly knows how to not only navigate it but also completely fluent in every operation of the system. Look at this highly complicated, specifically designed interface for this world-ending nuclear device... yeah, I totally won't hit the wrong button on this one.

And I struggle every time MS changes PowerPoint! But yeah... they got this...

"Where's the damn anti-matter inducer?"
"This. No, this."
"THAT, or nothing."

Come to think of it, why do all the bad guys making bombs always leave a way to disarm it? Especially when they know they want to use it anyway, why give the good guys a way to stop you? Ever? Sure it makes for a long drawn out movie with happier endings but really? With all the intricacies that go into making these devices, they can't managed to build it so once armed, it'll never be turned off? Or do they all have a conscience and go "Welllll there's that chance that I might change my mind at the last second..." Because obviously they're going to stick around the area to be close enough to change their mind.

Except that one time, in The Peacekeeper, where it there was no disarming ability to the bomb, and took the understanding of how one works to keep it from killing people?

About 30 years ago there was someone who built a bomb and put it in a casino that he felt had cheated him and told them for the amount he felt they owed him he would disarm it. Turns out there was no way to disarm it as the guy was determined to take down the casino no matter what and the bomb squad blew up part of the casino while trying to neutralize it.

Bombs and other explosive devices placed by the bad guys, that always have audible beeps corresponding to the flashing LED's on the device. Where's the bomb hidden? Shut up and listen...
I had to look this one up so I could quote it. It's not always the bad guys. I binge watched Star Trek: Discovery two weeks ago on a free trial and there was one episode where they had to plant two devices on a ship that not only had a bright blue light, but made a noise just unpacking AND when they started working they announced it with voice messages.

"Please! You're the only one that can help!"

Out of 7+ billion people, and countless thousands with actual training in any particular specialty, but YOU, Mr random do-gooder, you are the ONLY one that can help.

The only subversion to this I can think of is the movie Cellular, and that's because the woman was randomly using wires of a recently broken phone to dial numbers and was lucky to get ahold of anyone, be it Chris Evan's character or not.

Constant flash backs. I'm watching yet another alien invasion movie on Netflix and I don't know how it has five stars. I can only imagine the cast, crew, and their friends gave it five stars because it's getting really annoying. Five to ten minutes of the present followed by ten to fifteen minutes at some random previous point in the past.

Civilian 'expert' is brought into military base of operations because 'you need to hear what they have to say'. Only to be ignored with 'we got this under control' and escorted into detention. And you know what happens next..............

People who really, really need to keep their job but on the first night insist on breaking into a secret door/room and going in, and risking their job.
To be fair, this was after watching The Abandoned aka The Confines, I could do without seeing that again..

Usually a explosion on post/base close enough for either the cell door to open or a secondary character opens the cell door to free the hero?

I know this was already posted but I saw 4 or 5 movies/shows over the weekend showing wet city streets... even when its sunny outside

Post-modernist deconstructions of traditional ideas, concepts, or characters that are replaced with nihilistic story telling and destruction of established archetypes.
