Pretty much. I built up the surface with a high build primer, and then sanded that smooth.

That casting looks amazing! It's a damn shame the Patrol Troopers didn't get more screen time in the movie. The armor design is easily the best one from Solo.

Thanks. I was bummed that they had such a small role too. But I love the helmet design.
