We had everyone from medieval knights to jewelery to Ghostbusters to metal forgers and ...the couple star wars tables. There was a guy next to me who built a whole functional R2D2 (hyraulics, arms and sounds and lights) ....and my table included work from myself and all over the RPF.
Many things at the museum and today are quick and I rarely have time for a few minute conversation but I think I taught people LOTS of the Star Wars prop history. See if you can spot some props!
it was lots of fun and I learned things about explaining this stuff to people. Also, grabby children are the props worst enemy. No damage but I have to clean some of these props and watch out next time.
