Finished up the gauntlets today.
I made the brown bands around the wrist out of foam layered with more foam to give it the rope like look and weathered it with black paint.

I'm working on the scouter today, hopefully I'll have it done soon.

I did a test fitting of the costume! but first here's some boring WIP pictures :p
For thew under suit I cut up an old pair of boxer briefs to use as a pattern, transferred to black spandex and sewed it together.

Now for the tail, I bought some fur and cut a 5in strip and sewed it together rounding the end of the tail and stuffed it.

then I sewed the red bands for the bicep and thigh, for this I just stretched red spandex over elastic and sewed the seams.

To attach the tail I sewed a snap on the end of the tail and one on the back of my tights.

The tube socks really bring the whole thing together hahahahaha.
I still need to make a few modifications to the armor but I like how everything is shaping up!
I should have the scouter done in the next couple days.

Not to be a party-pooper,but the tail (to me) seems a bit thick and long.
Other than that: awesome costume:thumbsup

I've been thinking the same thing especially about the thickness, the tail has to be that long otherwise it wont wrap around the armor all the way but it will probably be a different story if the tail was thinner. I think I'll make a thinner one and see how that looks.

Scouter progress.
I started by mocking up a pattern, transferring it to foam and made relief cuts to help it bend.

Then I glued it together, cut a top and covered the whole thing in 2mm foam to hide the seams

I then cut the piece to go in the hole and glued it into place along with the extension part.

Next I cut the eye piece out of plexiglass using a dremel and bent it to shape using a heatgun.

I then glued it using contact cement, the head strap is just wire covered in foam and glued into place

The eye piece was too big in my opinion so I removed it and took a half inch of its height to get this

It still might need to be smaller but in going to wait for the wig to be ready to make any more decisions seeing as that might change up the whole look.
the wig is currently in the mail along with an LED for the scouter.

Haha. Cool.

I just made a Ginyu Force armor top and painted it up. I was inspired by your build. Great so far!

I will take one tonight when I get home. :D My sides aren't as clean. I installed clips to hold it together.

I really am not trying to cosplay as either. I just wanted a set of armor and it turned into a Ginyu force piece.
I like that the xenoverse had a fan of Ginyu and she wore the armor. That is pretty cool.

Looking forward to seeing your complete setup!
