And one of my daughter's friend has rent us a Play station 4 VR head gear yesterday.
I have tried it on Resident Evil 7 and OMG OMG !!! I was stunned. I never thought this is so real.
It's far beyond my expectation. This VR head gear is selling at about JPY500 ($450-&500).
I may have to save some money for this.
Again, OMG.!

Drive carefully, it's a long way.

In fact, what you see is not just a 360 degree screen.
It's a real 3D. Anything you see in sight , make you believe you can touch it.
I played a horror game and it makes me screamed like a kid many times.
I've been in a cockpit of space fighter but it was just like an opening scene of SW EP3.
That's the quite an experience in my 60 years life.

Happy new year, my friends.

I hope you had a very nice start of the year.
It was my first new year holiday after the retirement.
I could have a very happy holiday with my family.
That was so piece and quiet.
And this was the first new year holidays that I didn't have to worry about having a snow weather.

Last couple of weeks, I have been making a landing gears.
It took a week to designing and draw a plan.
and that was a very boring and frustrating work but it's coming to take a shape.

Started to make a small parts. I made each parts a double number for what I needed to obtain evenly good quality.

Now I am making housings and doors.

I hope you like it.

At the beginning of the new year, I decided to leave my words of life for my daughters.
This is for them for remember how to survive.

Here is in English. You boys should remember, too.:darnkids

Title is The seven sentence of F.P.S

1. Do not jump-in carelessly.

1. Get in to the cover.

1. Don't forget the throwing weapons.

1. Better to switch weapon than to reload.

1. Don't stay still too long, Keep moving.

1. Enemy's behind you.

1. Never give up. Advance!

I love the landing gear.
It always amazes me how you think these things up and just make them work..
May have been a boring process but the result is awesome.

And thank you very much for the 7 rules of F.P.S.
I will remember them well. Especially this one: Better to switch weapon than to reload.

I have found a very nice free FPS game to play on my laptop.
It is called Warface, I play it every day.

The landing gear is totally outstanding, yet again you have pulled another marvel out of the bag ( you must have a big bag ) from design to build is truly astonishing,

did you try different designs or did you draw one design then build it ? as I and many others would have tried a few different designs / attempts to end up with something that even resembles landing gear and probably nowhere near as fantastic as what you have built.

There were three ideas for the landing gear in my mind.
Skid type, wheel type and the chicken leg type.
I choose the chicken leg type and tried to draw the rough sketch.
This is the first one.

Then I drew a bit more detailed one for scaling.

Due to the total balance and the limited space to put them on, I had to make it be able to fit in a size of 1" x 1" x 3 " square when they were retracted. .
I wanted to actuate the four claw tow tip with four actuator rods but was difficult to keep it in that space.
So I gave up that idea and fix the final design.

Unfortunately or Fortunately !? , both of mine - son & daughter seem to alternate when they’re dark or light , never both at the same time !

Hi!,

Continuing to build the gear housing.

When I have to make a number of same parts, I make an appropriate jig for mass production.

set and slap, set and slap.

Drill a small hole.

Made many enough.

Actuator bars.

Housing.

Gear down.

Gear up

seems no problem so far.

It will be fitted around here.

Yeah! piece of cake !!

It took only.... ah........ 12 hours.....:facepalm
