Is this the next film in the Cloverfield series? I thought I read it was supposed to be.

Yeah it was rumored to be. Guess they might have changed it due to the reactions of The Cloverfield Paradox or it was meant to be its own thing.

Looks good. AC/DC is fine for the trailer, but it would be a horrible decision to have it in the film.

I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would.
I turned off the part of my brain that nitpicks war films and enjoyed the ride

Saw this over the weekend, and man. I loved it! The effects were amazing, except for one CGI scene, the writing was good, the characters were likable, there was a kid and he was well done and you felt for him. I really enjoyed it. And the main dude, I coudlnt place who he was, or what he reminded me of, but it was Kurt Russells son! Thought that was cool! Overall, great movie, go see it in theaters.

Just saw this in the theater with my son and loved it. It is exactly what a popcorn film should be.
