Dirk / Omnius, Which wood grip did you purchase? There are several out not sure which ones fit the AW Custom right off the bat. DEC? eBay, Amazon or a place called "Epic Militara? Ones made for Denix / MGC? or the real Mauser c96? I've ask chubsANDdoggers the same question and for the AW Custom for SOLO he recommends keeping the stock plastic grips.

Jedar

I got some wood grips from Sarco (http://www.e-sarcoinc.com/search.aspx?find=mauser+grips) and they fit pretty decently. It took a little sanding to get them in there and they are a tiny bit large on the bottom but they feel so much better than the plastic.
