The costumes I'm bringing this year are:
Bioshock Infinite Motorized Patriot,
Gruncle Stan
Capt. Crunch (repurposing the motorized patriot jacket)
Despicable Me "firetruck" Minion
And either my Ghostbuster gear and uniform, or my Real Ghostbusters Sachin costume from last year.

I'll be there with a She-ra Costume and a Gender Swapped Avengers (movie) Captain America. I'm thinking of pulling together a quick Firefly (Last of Us) for a more casual day.

My husband is going as a punk rock Galactus. He was a bit inspired by my Punk Rock Jean Grey I made around Halloween.

I'm so close, and yet, when I stop and think about all the details I still need to get done? Oy! Less than 72 hours and it has to be in a suitcase on the way to the airport!

Great news...I scored a room at Hyatt Place! No idea if its a good hotel...but it's close! That means I can enjoy a cold adult beverage at the Avengers Ball...and walk back to my room...

Hyatt Place is awesome... one of the better places we stayed that wasn't a con hotel. (Used to be the Amerisuites, and we stayed there back in the day as well.) Close by, clean, and fairly comfortable. And you can get a hot breakfast if you want, too. Sometimes that's just what the doc ordered. =)

I'll be doing "Ancient Alien Meme" guy Friday, Wolverine Saturday and Wreck-It Ralph on Sunday. Lots of work with my hair (both facial and on top of my head), but I hope it'll come off ok.

Friday - Femme 11th Doctor (I was doing a custom-designed femme 10 for the 50th anniversary of Doctor who, but I couldn't find the pinstripe fabric)
Saturday - Catwoman
Saturday night - Lady Mary Crawley (Downton Abbey)
