Let's see your work-space.

Its always nice to see how other people work with space limitations. I move every couple of years and my shops range from a desk in a closet (North Carolina and Ohio) to a full fledged 2 car garage wood shop and office (Utah) to my current in the spare bedroom seen here (Florida) which has my desk, currently covered with multiple models, and my . mementos on the walls.

When we retire back to Ohio in a couple of years, I'm building a proper shop and library.

Hmmm this thread just shamed me into going into my garage and cleaning up :$

20180528_155305.jpg

I can see the floor, It's clean enough.
My main work area is the small table in the lower right corner. Move it outside and its my welding bench, spay station. Inside it get sat on, stood on and used as a tool rest.
The large heavy duty bench to the left has my Lathe, Pillar drill, Band saw and milling machines on. And my printer enclosure is on the far right (Got an Anycubic Photon arriving in the next week and I ain't got a clue where to put it) Bigger shop needed with a dedicated clean area for printers, I've never had an issue with dust in my printer enclosure but I'm sure resin printing is gonna change that

When we bought our house a few years ago, I was able to claim one of the basement bedrooms with walk-in closet as my workshop and prop room.

We converted the closet to my workshop, and while it isn’t huge, it’s large enough for a workbench, vent hood, and some shelves to store things. I don’t definitely don’t get to spend enough time there...

Great spaces erbody. I have a pretty large space now. But i started off in a cramped space. Its all about smart use of space. I used to put everything on rolling carts that would roll under the workbench. This way you coul'd kind of configure the shop for whatever project you were working on. For instance i had a mold making cart. So anytime i would mold something i just pull it out and its ready to go. When not its hidden away.

Now im a bit spoiled. These are all older pics but now even this huge space is actually getting cramped. Since these pics I've added a another 16,000 lb cnc machine and a few other machines which take up a bunch of space.

"respect" that you can handle my comment not going all the way into defence ;)

I can do anything I want.. only thing is.. I'm in no way commercial and or social... So... But to bed honest I don't care for money.. i'm happy to have a roof and food and spare time to go fishing and building stuff.. then I'm rich enough.. only wish I had a bit more sometimes to get me some new models like a of falcon ... LoL
But good for you ;)

I'm similar actually i don't like going out or networking :) I'm pretty much a loner. That is why i love forums like this. I don't know anyone "in real life" who is into the things i am. Such as prop making, machining etc. I just make my own stuff and post on Instagram etc

Wtf of falcon needed to be PG falcon...

But yeah same here... When people hear what I do they call it playing with toys and airplanes. If they see the details of some thing they go wow... But still I see people don't look good.. there is a ton or more details people don't see..
It's too bad people don't give our art the time it deserves to look at.. people just don't care.

I love to share my stuff online but I'm to lazy to take food pictures or my projects.
Just don't cheap phone pictures.

That's the same with the fish I catch.. I'm a dedicated carp Fisher..
People who fish catch and release are mental without any words... ;)

So that leaves.... Me and my dog.. at least she is happy when I'm..

Saying that.. I'm now packing my stuff and I'm out fishing this night :)
