I'll give that a shot I still have a bit of yellow to paint on the back so I may try it there.Thanks for the tip. I never knew it would be this streaky.

So not a yay completed paint post but I was a bit excited with being able to paint a sorta new color still yellow but a darker shade for the highlights. Still have to feather it in but I'm liking how it's turning out so far.

Also in trying to decide on battle damage. I feel like yea definitely woverine would have battle damage on his armor, but since I'm going based on a figure just unsure and up in the air about it. I would go crazy with it but some scratches and burn marks maybe. Thoughts?

Shading of the yellow is done on the helmet and front armor, still have the back. I also started the first coat of the dark blue. Excuse the bright orange shirt lol.

Still need to get the thighs and back finished but I should be on track to have this finished this weekend I hope. Also have to put a clear coat on everything but that shouldn't take long.

Almost finished.I plan to add some some battle damage but that will have to wait until tomorrow night. Also going to do a full suit up tomorrow as well before I damage it all up.

Battle damage and clear coat added. Can say the armor is finished and ready for Saturday minus a few Velcro pieces to hot glue. Didn't go crazy with the battle damage I wanted to keep it subtle so I didn't take away for the colors. I also raised the thighs from the last picture and they look and function much better added in a few straps on the knees since the figure has them and they will also help if the knee falls off it won't get lost. I may eventually redo the shins I feel like there to thin, but I do have skinny calves so it's accurate for me lol. I'll be sure to post pictures from the con until then thanks for looking.

Well the weekends over and had a blast. I'll have to make some leg adjustments but overall very happy with how the armor moves had no issues with the knees shins, or chest. I'll be making a new set of claws the ones I had almost didn't make it into the con with being so sharp so just a heads up of you guys order the wish ones they may not make it into the con. I'll be posting my progress on the claws here and that will prob end the build thread. I'm still getting pictures from the event and looking into doing a few more hopefully soon. There's not a lot close by me here in Virginia.

Wanted to post a few pictures of the suit. I adjusted and sewed the leg clips and they wok so much better now.
Still toying with the idea of making the belt accessories and I need to get a better pair of blue long gloves but can't find any that are great quality online atm.
