M19 telescope mhr 1942 build

Yeah getttin ahold of that scope has proved tough...I dont want to copy a copy ill hold out untill i get one....

Don't abandon Star Wars, we need you! I'd almost surely pick up a disk if it was recessed (not so concerned about stamped, though not opposed!). Depending on cost of course. I have a Bespin bracket on order from Boba Debt but now find myself wanting to build a Hoth too so may need another. Damn those DL-44's! Can't help you on the Hensoldt, sorry, I scratchbuilt mine and it's nice but not super accurate.

I would be interested in a disk if it was just flat, with no raised or recessed areas. We've located the real prop on display in Japan and one of our members has seen it and reported that it is just flat. The center area is caused by a discoloration (glue, epoxy, paint).

Very interesting,,, try to get some pics!!!!!

Do you happen to be planning an all aluminum E-11 blaster? If so how much are you looking at price point?

Ask and you shall receive.

I can't say I'm convinced that the "Thorens disc" is indeed flat. Who's to say it is with all that gunk buildup in the center. I still think the recessed center side is facing us, and I feel like I can see a faint shadow or space at the bottom center of the disc.

Im not sure either ,,, when i get conflicting data that means i need to do both and let the builder decide??? the quest never ends

Anyone know what the weaver mounted scope rings are on the rotj sight rail??????

I don't think so. They are taller between the ring and the mount. I can't remember the model number, but I don't think they make them anymore. I'll look at mine when I get home.

No, I don't think they are being made anymore. I was on BobaDebts last run, of the Han ROTJ blaster, & he had all of us looking for them, & we were only able to locate 40. I'll see about taking some photos for ya when I get home tonight.
