Just announced on CBS News. There are some people you are just used to having in the world. Thank you for Spock, and William Bell, and all the other roles that were overshadowed.

As shocking as it is to hear I can't say that I'm all that surprised, that man just did not age that well and seeing him on Fringe I really didn't think that we'd have him with us for all that much longer. Still sad to hear though.

Wow. That man was a HUGE part of my childhood. Damn.

Godspeed, Mr. Nimoy. Second star to the right, & straight on 'til morning. :cry

I remember him also from Mission:Impossible and Invaders of the Body Snatchers.

And who can forget The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins ... :)

He lived a long and prosperous life. RIP Leonard Nimoy.

Thank you for the years of entertainment, your roles and performance will continue to charm the audience for decades into the future.

Not only has a Iconic figure passed but a kind and friendly Man. :(

I was fortunate enough to get to know him in the early days of the Trek conventions

My deepest sympathy to Adam and Julie
