Do3D 3D Print Black Panther 2018 Mask Build

Hey guys recently I just bought a prusa i3 Mk2s printer and after getting used to the printer I thought it’s about time to start on a 3D printed project.
Bought the file from Do3D and the print so far is coming out great and really accurate.
Currently it’s just gonna be a straight up build with no gimmic, I’m trying to figure out how to illuminate the mask with purple led to have the same effects from the movie. Hopefully u guys have any ideas? So here are pictures of the print, will be posting more pictures soon. Next thing is for sanding and cleaning the seam line

This looks great! you must be at around .1 layer height?? I was thinking about getting their file, but the USD - CAD exchange is killing it right now for me.

Just Amazing... I specially like the layers of the mask which are designed with creativity. Keep it up YuZheng.

It’s printed on 0.2 layer height actually. In total about 60 hours print for the whole thing including eye piece and back piece.
Their file are abit pricey but it’s really detail and well model, would definitely recommend.
Apparently i did some research before printing and people generally use 0.2 layer height and it shows the detail brilliantly!

You could try printing it in natural or transparent pla and just paint the area you do not want lit.
Also, sent you a pm with some question.
