I was anticipating this might get a regular release down the line. But, a lot of Bandai Spirits kits seem to vanish...and that's it.
The magazine goes for about 15 bucks on the newsstand in Japan. I would love to have paid that. But, I don't want to miss out on this.
I have a stack of Bandai mini SDs that I was planning for various fun projects. When I heard about the transparent version, I was going to give away to some kids the ones I bought...there was no reason for them.
If Bandai don't release a transparent version...then, the Model Graphix Magazine might be the only chance of getting hold of them.
I really wanted 4. But, that was when I thought they'd be a regular release. I ended up spending a lot of money on Ebay for 3 of the magazines, and hope that I can repurpose a regular Bandai SD for half of a diorama I was planning.
I'd love Bandai to release lots more models in this format. At the end of the day, it helps "special" modellers, and if you want to make a regular SD...so what? You primer it anyway, and there you go!
