I need to ask - what is "saltwater etching"?
This is the tutorial I followed to produce the etch. I didn't write the tutorial so thumbs up to ARKM for providing the walkthrough guide.I need to ask - what is "saltwater etching"?
No story this time. Just looked at the PCB I was going to work with and loved the tones of it. I started there and worked outward, totally unexpected result that I really like. Usually I mix and match a lot of pieces, or build around a body-- but building off the card was a lot of fun.

From the top down--
Canon Y/X flashguard
Heiland Shroud (only seen this cut a couple times)
Bulb socket emitter
King Sol body (wet sanded, scotch-brite-d)
King Sol Clamp and wheel
Lure tape
Aluminum bar grips, 2-.75" and 4-.5"
Pop Rivets
Black single rivet D-ring
Board is from a vintage calculator.
Did you strip that highland clamp? Or did it come raw like that? Looks really cool. I've only seen one other like that, on a saber here. Never seen one like that in the wild.
heres one more im working on.
on the fence about the grips.

Where'd you get the cool grips?
I love the switch box on the choke of the one, that couldn't have been fun to wire up and install. Tell me, where did you get the red anodized buttons from? I've been looking, but have been unable to find.My custom sabers, the one with the o-rings was the first one I built.
Obviously mostly built from tcss-parts, soundboards are Nano Biscottes.
