Absolutely stunning! I love what you're doing with these. My son has a bunch of Nerf guns and I'm starting to get some ideas about what to do with them.

Thanks! Yeah nerf guns are great prop platforms, they are mostly ABS too so that helps with glueing & painting.

Some guns that I already had done, resprayed & brought into line aesthetically for an upcoming short film. Sad to see the destiny style sniper resprayed but I think it's even better looking now!

stunning work!

What is the base of the white-grey one?
Cheers! It's a CYMA P698+ bb gun, a cheap & cheerful alternative to the g33 advance that they use in the expanse as the star helix pistol.

Dude! You have the natural skills to be a professional prop builder for feature films!!!
Thanks! I'm a modelmaker by trade but I don't really get to do that sort of stuff, mostly museum pieces, exhibition & oil industry.
I get a kick out of making things look beat up as everything I do in the day job has to look pristine.

Some more old pics I forgot to share.
Done as part of the same job as the last two pistols.
The brief was for two clean, well maintained villain rifles, two clean Palace guard type rifles & one beat up mercenary rifle.
Made out of Nerf & airsoft guns on a tight budget

After seeing Adam Savage customise a nerf blaster on tested I thought I'd give it a go. Here's some I've done so far.

Beautiful work! I love how you reworked the body of the guns so they don't just look Nerf Guns. Did you use styrene for the first rifle? Again, very nice job.

Thanks!
The first one is clad in 3mm acrylic.
Nice. That one is definitely my favorite. How long does it take you to complete one? I know it can vary project to project. I tend to start a lot of projects, take a lot of time working on them, and then don't end up finishing them... I'm amazed at how fast some people can work and finish a project.

Not long, 1or 2 days.
If I make it up as I go along then it'll usually be done in a day but if I'm sticking to a look then a day planning/sketching & another day building it.

That is some legit work! Fantastic weathering and detailing! Did you use rub-n-buff on the rear of the slide and the front of the flashlight to get that nice effect?
