Looking to machine metal Wolverine claws! Any specs out there?

Hey all,

I'm usually floating around the "lightsaber" building side of the forum, but as I'm winding down to finishing that collection, I'm moving onto the next thing I've wanted since I was a teen in the 90's.

Claws coming out my hands so I can walk down the hall and cut through the walls.


But since I haven't found a seller machining them in metal (aluminum?) that's reasonable for shipping to Canada (or even legal to ship to Canada) I figured I'd just make them myself.

I'm thinking DOFP style, or "Logan" style...

Does anyone have specs on these? length, width, etc?

I'm not sure what the thoughts are on sharing specs.. in lightsaber world we have specs for everything easily attainable, but haven't had a lot of luck finding specs that don't appear to be random guess work, or just eyeballing.

So if anyone out there can steer me in the right direction, that would be great!
