Hello,

Starting to plan out a 1/12 scale sculpture of the character Crusher Roodown from the Force Awakens. I can't seem to find any reference pictures of the back of the character/costume or clear pictures of the object he is dragging through his screentime on Jakku. Can anyone help me out on some more reference pictures of him and the thing hes dragging? Thanks in advance

As for the back side I haven’t seen any reference pictures. However, there is a concept art showing his left side which could serve as an inspiration:

And concerning the "sledge" he is pulling, there is a good reference shot in TFA visual dictionary:

Plus a BTS shot of the head:

I hope it helps!

That is awesome thank you so much! I actually have a production used A4 size print of that concept art in my collection that came from the art department at Pinewood. Wasn't sure if it matched the final design but it should be close enough i guess.

I didn't even think to check in the visual dictionary, thank you for the suggestion/pics! I'll have to pick that book up before I start this project.

You’re very welcome!
Yeah, I think that since there is no good back shot of Roodown, you could use the concept art. I don’t think they changed the final costume much.
I can scan the page from the visual guide for you if you want. You don’t need to buy that one. There’s only this one photo after all :)

That would be awesome if you wouldn't mind scanning that page for me! It's most likely the clearest reference I'll be able to find.

Here is the original production concept art that I have, just in case anyone needs better reference in the future.

I also did some digging and ran across this behind the scenes image taken while they were filming. It's not as clear as the visual dictionary pic but it's really shows the droid's legs and overall shape of the sled. It's weird, in the VD pic it looks like the bodies are cylindrical but in this one they are a rounded square shape.

He makes a brief cameo in the Jakku scene in the Star Tours ride. It's mostly side view, but you should be able to find the footage on youtube or other video hosting site.

Found this fanmade interpretation on etsy.
