1 Polished Brass, the shoulders are looking amazingOk, for anyone casually dropping by to see what's going on here, I have a question: what kind of finish do you prefer for comic style Dredd armor?
1st picture = polished brass
2nd = candy golden yellow
3rd = pale gold
1 and 2 are considered high gloss finish, but 3 is not. Let me know!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180721/f063b3c1bd261cf4176ed7c47380d9e4.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180721/0cc393f3dcb3ae8ddb4649c384a9e1ad.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180721/e63a23a2a20c351fead9a4409d928671.jpg

So, the shoulders are just foam covered in smooth cast 305 then primed?No more foam. Everything has been coated is smooth cast 305. Now to sand the shoulder and prime them.

More or less, yes. The left shoulder is made with eva foam and craft foam. After it was assembled, I sealed it with pva glue and then mod podge. Next I coated it twice with smooth cast, sanded and then primed.So, the shoulders are just foam covered in smooth cast 305 then primed?
Finally got both of them painted and the wrist pouches done. I switched from pleather to actual leather pouches as the paint takes to the leather much better. I'll add the back of the hand greeblies after I cast them.Those gloves look great!!
