Westworld Costume Thread

For the tablets they all carry. The way they fold is interesting.

How do you suppose the mechanics of the hinge work?

It may not be “hinged” at all, or even a real tablet. Possibly a series of 3 flat boards with a sheet of flexible material pasted to the top & bottom, to make it look like one continuous piece when opened. Picture a folding tablet stand/cover. The graphics could be added later using something like nodes + after effects.

It looks like the GUI designer is Chris Kieffer

Anyone recognize that split-leg apron for the Cleanup Techs, and could point me in the direction to get one? Looks like it might be vinyl. Have yet to find anything close so far. Got a regular vinyl apron to modify, but the material is thin and tears easily. This one item would complete my costume. Need a solution.

they sent me a PM on the material and said someone else was interested in it to.. asking how much would i want. so if they get enough interest they may make some and sell by the yard instead of one person having to order 18 yards of it.

Have to discuss with the person the outfit would be for first about price, but if I get the ok, then I'll PM them ASAP.

I just picked this up on etsy. It looks very close to what Clementine has, with a little modification. Unfortunately it appears to be an actual unique vintage piece, so I can't share a link for anyone else to purchase one. I will try to take some decent pics when it arrives.

the company that made the material for the man in black's jacket is doing a run of their material. wooT! at 105 a yard. i guess more than three of us want this material.

this is the massage they sent me.
"We are going to be weaving this fabric now and need deposits for yardage. The fabric will be $105/ yard and a 50% deposit is required balance due before shipping. once we get your deposit we will create an invoice with all your information. Our details are on our web site."

the lady that is making the material is making 25 total yards. so get it while you can!

That is awesome! Are you planning to make the jacket as well (with the SA fabric even)?

I am planning on making the jacket with the SA fabric, but I haven't decided if I'm going to make it myself or have a tailor do it. The fabric is expensive, and there is a good chance I'll make some mistakes along the way.
