Star Wars Room Build - UPDATED!

So, did you all think this project died? I certainly did for a while. We've been tinkering on other projects, and likely avoiding getting my butt to work on this because it can be overwhelming, and this is the second go around after all. But we are back working on it, and . . . so here we go!

Thanks for the update! I checked out your video, binge watched a bunch of videos, and subscribed. :) :thumbsup

Very much so! The funny thing was I was working my backwards thru the videos (oldest to newest) and thinking how much I would enjoy a "tour" of your workshop shelves. The very next video I watched was Illumination Flare and shop tour. :)

We have built the first panel for the room re-build. Needs a bit of adjustments, but overall the design seems to work out alright. Just wanted to share a bit with you all. Have a great weekend!!!

Glad to see you back on the room! Got my popcorn out and waiting for the next update!

Thank you man, I am glad to be making progress as well!

I love every bit of this project. All the panel DIYs are awesome!

Thank you very much! I really appreciate it.

Love the panel! &, as always, I love your videos! Everyone of them is a joy to watch (y)

I can't tell you how much I appreciate you watching. I am glad you enjoy them. I really am striving to make them valuable and entertaining.

So glad to see you back at it. Very jealous of this project...

Thank you. I can't believe how long it has taken me to get things going. On the road for the day job several weeks a month has really slowed this progress, but I am going to make it happen!

Incredible build Brian and always great to see you making magic mate....

Thanks for sharing.
MARK

Thank you Mark!!!! Much appreciated that you stopped by to check it out!

Alrighty RPF friends. We have made a bit more progress on the room project. I have been working on a section that will have a display case for my vintage action figures. Thank goodness for my mother! She followed me around as a kid and managed to save a good amount of the original Star Wars figures I had since I was in short pants.

Many of them are not in great condition, but they have significant value to me personally since they went on many adventures when I was a much smaller version of myself. Thank you for checking it out, and now on with the build!

Here is some of the gang that will be hanging out in the display cabinet!

The display case is broken down into 4 parts; Some pipe work using Electrical Retro style backboxes, PVC pipe, model parts that were kitbashed, and some laser cut MDF from SofaKing01 who is simply AWESOME!

You can see the entire part 1 build in this video.

The second phase is a control panel of sorts. I used all kinds of random stuff that I have been saving for this project.
