It looks like you built the model in 3d studio max, I love the program but precise it is not?

Phil is using 3D studio max, and he already nailed the designing for 3d printing very well. We use an Original Prusa i3MK2S and a modified Anet A8 for printing.
The print looks so smooth since we alredy blasted it with filled and sanded it a little bit, to make sure we are able to see all the details and cover up any imperfections which maybe happened during the print.

Not at all I have been using 3D Studio Max professionally for 18 yrs. I got my start on max2.5.
