Blade Runner 2049

I mostly enjoyed the trailer and certainly liked the desert and casino scenes. The cityscape looked to me as if it had been shot in downtown Hong Kong which disappointed me immensely. I'm not a great fan of Gosling but I am sure with Denis Villeneuve at the helm I might get to like him in this. I am horrified though at the thought of Jared Leto being cast because I dislike him intensely.

Seeing Harrison with the blaster was a highlight and just as special as seeing him in the Fedora again.

A teaser poster for Blade Runner 2049, I sincerely hope they don't drop the ball with this one...

Thanks very much, Jaitea these are words of high praise indeed. I know Drew personally and we've both worked for Lucasfilm - more or less as colleagues - for around 25 years.

Thank you very much again

Well you have fans in Northern Ireland Mark

This style of movie poster stands out a hell of a lot more than the photoshopped montages used by studios

....& again love the paint job & weathering on your Falcon

Exceptional work, Mark. Not meant to sound negative or sarcastic at all, but honestly, I'd expect nothing less from you; simply exceptional work, man.

Looking good. Damn, I am so excited.

Check out the doorway behind Officer K at 1:18 in the teaser trailer. Looks like Deck got a dog, perhaps he even found a real one, to guard him (although if it's a guard dog it's not doing a very good job just standing there).
Who's going to be the first to add one of these to their prop collection?

Great job on that painting Mark:cool As far as prop, you can tell by this pic that the set decorator have the Napoleonic look (dear to SRS) to a tee. Now, in today's market and if you find them, those pieces of furniture will cost you a kidney. Happy collecting:D

"Do you like our dog?"

"It's artificial?"

"Of course it is"

"Must be expensive"

"Very!"

We do know that in the first film, dogs still existed (but apparently as food judging from Dekkard's question to Rachel). XD

Deckard saying to Rachel "the entree consists of boiled dog.." is designed to engender a strong emotional resonse like shock or disgust, so maybe it's not something which actually happens in the Blade Runner universe.

Most of the animals are dead post World War Terminus. I imagine there would be a lucrative black market for any kind of meat for anyone left on the planet that could afford it.
In the Blade Runner game, your character owned an animoid dog named Maggie that is killed late in the game.
