I scored these last week and would like to share the #'s incase anyone else is looking for them. The red button is actually just a light. They were available in at least red and green.

Now a real killer, when he picked up the ZF-1, would've immediately asked about the little red button on the bottom of the gun.

Good find Zorg. That is it, even the lens looks perfect.

Kinncris, your looking at it. I just started gathering/looking for parts, you have to start somewhere. I think i know which microtorch was used but need to get it to confirm the correct knurles on the knob and i think the rocket is an Estes Bullpup. Most of the lower "gun" pieces are just machined aluminum so those will have to be made. The big gold aluminum rings on the side with the 8 bolts has me stumped. Looks like an aftermarket steering wheel horn button/ring. The top big gun looks familliar too but i can't put my finger on it. Easy to make anyways. I will post more pics and info as i find stuff. I have always wanted one of these badboyz and i'm hoping i can finally gather and or make all the parts for my very own ZF1.

So at the widest part is the button truly 25mm? This would be great to know for a scaling reference.

Maybe we should turn this into The Definitive Zorg ZF-1 thread. I dont think we have ever had one on the RPF and it's going to take a huge group effort to find some of the found items on this sucker.

I think i am going to start a new thread for the "definitive ZF thread" I ended up finding some of the red momentary push button switches rather than just the lights i started this thread with. I should have a shell within the next few weeks. Just have to pay it off on friday so this is about to be on it's way as a project. A long project for sure but it needs to be done.This is indeed a huge undertaking. There were at least 3 ZF's that i can see in the movie and they were each a little different. I'd like to cover these differences in the thread as well as the issues concerning making this a live firing prop. I am currently going through my screen caps numbering the parts. I also want to post a bunch of close up screenshots to help identify each part. Hopefully i can get the new thread started up in the next week or so .
