Zombie ribcage

Hey everyone, new guy here.
I've got a Zombie Walk coming up soon, and I've been a big fan of the zombie scene.
I've got tons of pictures of me as a zombie in the previous years of makeup that I've done myself.

I'm not experienced in molding or anything of that matter.
My plans were to make somewhat of a latex ribcage that I can put on my chest with liquid latex and paint up to look REAL nasty. :lol

Does anyone have any pointers of where I should start?
Has anyone done it before?

Let me know.

Thanks!

You could use a fake plastic skeleton and cover it with latex and rips of paper towels. After a few layers and it's dried up, peel it of from the plastic rib cage, a few layers should of the latex/paper towel combo should holds it shape.

I would suggest you use RD-407 (mask latex) since it's ticker than regular liquid latex. And you can fill the inner side with a little cotton balls and latex to keep the bevel effect.

My two cents. :)
