While there are many armor makers out there there is really only one set of "acurate" stormtrooper armor. The rest is recasts, resculps, or crap. Here is how the legend goes:
A Long time ago in a galaxy far far away:
Somebody working on a movie lot came upon a trashcan that had props just thrown into it. On the top of that can was a Screen used ROTJ armor. The person who came upon it, fearing for his job, grabed what was on top and ran like a MOFO! Since it was a quick snatch and grab the armor wasn't complete. It had the chest/back, lower torso, one complete arm, and both legs. Somehow (I don't know this part of the story) the armor ended up in T*E's hands. He had the stuff, that was in the lot, recasted and then he had a master sculpter finish the rest. Now T*E eventually purchased, off of EBAY no less, two seperate screen used Stormtrooper helmets. One was from Jedi and the other from ANH. Now both of these helmets were casted and then later sold. Most of the molds were later sold to TE2. Now these molds, the armor, and helmet, aren't 100% acurate (again its a Jedi Trooper) but they are about as close as you are currently going to get. Now the same Master sculpter, mentioned earlier, has about a 1000 archive photos of various sets of ANH stormtrooper armor. He is currently working on molds to make the most acurate armor out there. NOBODY's comes close. Let me tell you this, every single Sandy out there is incorrect as far as screen acuracy goes. (Sorry guys but its true.) If you want the closest thing available wait for about six months and you'll see it on the white armor website or pm me and I'll give you his email..........
