Your favorite Book Prop

Hitchhikers Guide is great.
The President's secret book from National Treasure 2 is another great one.
All of Jake Speed's paperbacks.
The book Brenda wrote in Highlander.
How many people remember the journals from the tv series "Veritas"?

The Wolf

I've always been a fan of the Pirate's Code from World's End.

At least I think it was called that. Honkin' big book.

My favourite beside the Grail Diary is the John Doe Notice Book from Se7en.
Does somebody ever planed to make it??

how about the red notebook from Resident Evil Extinction
i rewatched it the other day and it seemed like a cool project:)

Wow, someone finally mentions the Grail Diary. Surprised it took so long.
Im between the Grail Diary and the Red Book. I think the Diary has a bit of an edge as it has a lot more screen time. But the Red Book is simply a work of art! Ive gotta get one someday.

The Pirata Codex? Yeah, that was pretty awesome. Looked like it was just about full of real pages, too.

My favorite is my screen used bible from Dracula 2000. I thought it was a background piece until I researched it some more, and found out it was used in a scene where the guy flings open the book and it showers Drac with pages. It's friggin huge, and heavy, and filled with bible pages. Some loose, some bound. Looks old, and is just a cool piece.

I still need to work on a stand for it so I can show it off.

Props FROM a book would have to be my Sapphire rose I did from David Eddings Elenium series. I haven't seen any one else take a crack at it, and it came out surprisingly well for a first time casting experience.

I love the Outer Limits cookbook though. I need to make one to add to the collection :)

Most people dig the Grail Diary as do I, but I've always wanted Indy's bible from Raiders. I have the McQuarrie bible prints (signed/unsigned) but always wanted that bible and nobody has yet come close. I imagine if found it would be quite expensive. One little tidbit of trivia is that when Indy puts it down on the table one of the clasps comes undone but in the next edit it's still closed.

I love the Doctor Who Journal, would be good to see the original prop to see how much detail they put in.

Here is my favorite, Remember:

Can't argue with that!

The Journal has 40 pages of art inside it...it really is amazing. They released a smaller version with a screwdriver. All the art was in it but it was half the real size. The one in my pic is a reproduction at full size with suede brown cover.

I've always wanted a copy of Kirk's "A Tale of Two Cities" from The Wrath of Khan. I've never been able to find a copy that matched it, so I'm thinking it's was made for the movie.
