I really didn't wanna start a new build this summer and had sworn to ONLY finish the many others that i started...
I wanna thank Alan Castillo for the leap of faith painting file.

On with the build...
I found this thing at a secondhand store for cheap and started by prying away the first board from the other. Pretty simple because they only used 4 small nails that i later used to attached the board together again.
I was planning on sanding away the black paint but the backside was clean so i just flipped it around and sanded the edges. Then i printed out the Painting on printer paper and attached it with decoupage glue. After it had dried I used my dremel to do some weathering on the edges and the bottom plate.
Then i painted the bottom plate with black acrylic paint (mixed with lots of water.) A black permanent marker pen was used in the scratches and before it had dried i used alcohol based hand disinfectant (70%) to spread the marker paint out a little bit more.
After it all was dried I use gold foil around the Grail that i weathered with a tiny bit of high-grit water sandpaper.
All in all it took less than 2 hours to make.
I got this spotted texture on the decoupage glue by dabbing on the glue with the end of a stiff brush.
It's not as big as it looks as you can see on this picture with the ruler.
Now it hangs on the wall over my hobby table.
