Oh ..sorry for the blur on some pics..taken on my phone...

Riiight..
The main body of the blaster is an el cheapo Plastic Airsoft Mauser. The rest of the parts are a resin kit supplied by a member here.
After prepping the parts ie: sanding filling etc..
I gently soaked the centre of the resin grill in boiling water to open it up (the airsoft being slightly wider in the magazine area than a denix) then soaked the ends and bent them back in to fit properly. It worked a treat.
The barrel was cut down to an apropriate length and the flash suppressor pushed firmly in place..No adhesives needed..very tight fit..
The scope mount and scope assembled, clamps screwed and glued.
I painted the Body with suppressor and the scope assembly seperately, using plasticote primer and then flat black project paint.
Once dry I carefully sanded the small areas where the scope mount would be affixed to the gun and the scope mount fixing points..
The scope assembly was then glued and screwed to the body of the gun.
Once the glue had set it was time for the weathering, which i did using pictures of the original prop gathered from this very forum as a guide.
I think that covers it...
Total cost including paints etc...£40..
So not bad consindering the price.
It's part of a Han ANH costume I'm currently putting together.

Lets not forget the coolest part... it fires BBs.

Well...if you remove one screw (scope mount)...yes it is still functional.. :) I may just stick a screw head in place of that one in the near future..The Mount is glued in place anyway..
