Damn that's cool! There's a guy out here by me (on Long Island) who has a General Lee ... I see it by Home Depot all the time. How cool would it be to pass through the McDonald's drive-thru with one of those? :lol

It's a small world isn't it?

A girl that you work with has an uncle miles away that has built a batmobile and is known by another member of a forum that you post on!

BTW cool car!

Isn't the wheelbase a bit long for a Camaro?

Anyway, there's a guy 'round my way that has converted a 70's vintage 'Vette into a Batmobile themed car. Not really accurate to anything, but it's cool. If he shows at the car show this Saturday, I'll see if I can knock off a few pics (If it's not raining due to Hanna!).

I second that that is my favorite... i dont why ... but that to me is a very sexy design.:rolleyes

But here in Europe we got VERY STRICT LAWS on what can be driven on the streets. Are these allowed to drive on the roads?

That's a very cool car. I'm rather torn on which batmobile I like the most. This and the Tumbler rate right up there, but I still have a soft spot for the 1966 version. Rather glad to now almost own all three of these from Hotwheels in 1:18.

Yes, if you use a "donor" car keeping vehicle tags intact and use the same registration it's painless, basically it's just a modified version of the donor car... You really don't need to do anything to drive it... If you build it on a home built tube frame or what not then you are supposed to have to have a basic inspection and get the vehicle titled and cleared for road use... Basically they will just make sure it's road worthy and meets all the basic vehicle requirements like seat belts, and lighting because as an individual building a car you only have to meet the basic of basic vehicle requirements... But, in many cases even where a tube frame is used a lot of custom car guys simply register it with an existing title to a junked car and just make sure it has tags that match that title, not technically legal but mostly ignored or overlooked as it's simply a hassle to verify it's not that car... The only vehicle tag most authorities every look for is the dash one, so as long as you include that part of the original dash in your build it will pass as legit to most authorities...
