Y-Wing Pilot Helmet Microphone part identified?

Yesterday I was looking in the web for greeblies of Rebel Pilot helmets but what I found was a greeblie for a Biker Scout Termal Detonator. So I looked at the picture and
I think hey this small part I had seen before. And look it is used for the Y-Wing Helmet Microphone.First picture are highjacket from Mon Cals BikerScout thread.

Good eye! I'd bet that some Scout trooper expert should have some theories. Have you ask Mon Cal yet?

Hey Frank I started working on the helmet greebs...

and the biker type greeblie Which I took from my already designed biker scout belt greeblie and just cut it in half and added the extra cylinder.

Next is the right side disk.

The "biker" greeblies are also used on the rebel badges like the commandos have.

Here is the disk greeb.

The center I left is as a tru hole so you can use a black philips screw to attach to the helmet or i made 4 holes on the back side that can accept an 8-32 screw or M4 screw to hold it from the inside. The 4 holes are 0.25 inches from the center.

Yes I contacted Mon Cal today! And yes this part was used for Rebel Badges and 2 other costumes.

Can´t say if its an Modelkit part or Elecronical parts. Maybe Mon Cal can say what it is.
