Very Authentic. Love the paint job. I hope to do one of these in the future as well since it's probably my second favorite Starwars Helmet next to Boba Fett.
 
That thing looks like it came through the monitor onto your desk!! I love detail at this level!

And I wanted to chime in on the leather for the bumper. Disclaimer: I’m no leather worker, but I have made one pool cue with a leather wrap. That is relevant because it is also deceptive in its execution.

In order to get that leather to flat on that sharp curve, the shape has to be cut into it. So, the piece (I think) will look a lot like a letter “U”, rather than a rectangle.

On the pool cue, I was able to buy a template for getting the curves on each end right. It’s not like doing a cord wrap- there is zero tolerance where the leather meets the wood (or decorative ring) above and below. And a nice pool cue is subject to intense scrutiny. “Perfect or better is all we ask.”

Just in case anyone wants to try it.
