Ya, I don't know what to call it but for some reason always wanted to build it. Found on the dash of Xwings. Thought it would be a cool quick project. Unfortunatly it took 4 times to paint it due to paint incompatibilities. Odd how you buy 1 companies paints and they are incompatible with each other. I may hit it with some flat clear to tone down the gloss. The orange cubes could have been a tad smaller but it came out good enough for me.

Thanks guys. As much as I thought the gloss finish was nice , this is actually the finish I was hoping for. A couple light sprays of Krylon flat clear and all is right.

Hey Zombie Killer ! Some people might call it a scope, but, being a lightsaber guy, I'll go for "Ignite in Case of Ejection Failure Device"... or a lightsaber, for just in case.

Love this - what did you use for the brackets - are they a found part or just something printed?

The brackets are just the original Graflex/Graflite brackets that came with the flash.
