My stepson and son both were hoping this would be here by Christmas. Maybe Ill make a cast of my 360 and paint it like R2 till it comes out. LOL.. So hard to explain to the young ones that Santa couldn't come through! So Now, "Obi-Wan, your my only hope".....

I like it but I'd be afraid to use it. I'd want to keep it nice and bright.

From everything I've been reading it's not pushed until Dec 2012, just pushed back into 2012 after the 2011 holiday season so that Microsoft and LucasArts can ensure that the game and system reach their "full potential" together (whatever that means).

I'm betting Amazon and other sites have just set Dec 2012 as the date since the 2012 date is, as of yet, unknown.

Early reviews are actually showing there may be a little bit of crow-eating to be done by the nay-sayers. Sounds like controls are responsive and intuitive, the on-rails element actually makes sense in this case, and the whole thing is a fun package.

Here's a conspiracy theory for you.

Suppose that the rest of the bundle is merely "meh." However, the folks in advertising recognize that the godawful Han Bieber dance BS will encite nerdrage of legendary proportions....which will subsequently be mollified by releasing further details that prove it's "not that bad." Thus the product goes from "meh" to "not that bad" and the Star Wars junkies buy it.

Now, with that said, I'm going to the kitchen to get a drink. Can I offer anyone one of these, perhaps?

I was pretty gung ho about it when I saw the pictures of the console, but the Kinect Star Wars game looks really uninspired and the price tag is pretty high....that and I just had to replace my PS3, so shelling out another $500 wasn't exactly on my agenda.

bought my son one today for his CHRISTMAS present...looks pretty good for the box I am trying not to open and play with.
