Thanks 3phase I wasn't sure when my dad first mentioned the idea to me but when you see it, it looks really great, go out and get a 2 dollar candle and test it for yourself

Just wondering how everyone goes about painting the stripes and insignias on the wings. Also there will be a delay with updates as dads really old soldering iron has finally packed it in so no more wiring until we order a new one

Just wondering how everyone goes about painting the stripes and insignias on the wings.

I used 1/8" fine line vinyl tape to mask off the wings and stripe, then just painted with an airbrush. You can see how it turned out on my MPC X-Wing here: http://www.therpf.com/f11/blue-5-mpc-x-wing-221023/
