X-wing helmet

Hello All,
I am currently making a fiberglass replica of the X-wing helmet. The helm starts out as a cardstock model, is then fiberglassed and detailed out. I am looking for someone that can supply the amber lens.

Thank you,
Stilgarhammer

Sounds good, I love the card to fg method of making stuff myself.

Any pics you can share?

For the visor, create a wanted thread in the JY, someone is bound to have something you can use.

Hello,
At the present time its about half put together in cardstock. I will post a pic when done in cardtock and after fiberglassed.

Thanks,

Cool.

I just finished a LOTR Uruk helmet using the same method, see this thread.

I've refined it a lot since the last pics, I'll try to take some new ones soon.

I look forward to seeing your progress pics!

I hope you're not going for screen accuracy because those dimensions are way off.

The mohawk is way too short (height-wise) by half and the face opening isn't wide enough so if you get an accurate visor its very likely not going to fit right.

And that's just what I can see from your blurry phone photos.

I don't mean to discourage you from your project but I figured you should know before you get too far so hopefully you can fix it if accuracy is your goal.

Hello,
I am going for screen accuracy and any help is greatly wanted, but this one is a trial run. would anyone have a measured drawing I can use for the next one?

Thanks,
Stilgarhammer
