X-Wing and TIE Fighter of games getting rereleased

In college I spent wayyy too much time playing XvT online via Microsoft's gaming zone. 2v2 ladder matches with my roommate, too much fun

I actually really disliked XvT because of how reliant gameplay was on missiles, rather than guns. It wasn't until Balance of Power came out that I REALLY enjoyed it. I loved playing co-op with other friends, me handling the A-wing squadron, my friend in his X-wing guiding his squadron, trying to fly cover for transports until everyone could hyperspace out.

No kidding, I'm buying a new one just so I can play this game again.

Same here, my Afterburner finally crapped the bed and I'm scrambling to find a replacement at the drop of a hat, even of the worst quality, because TIE FIGHTERRRR

Also, according to the Star Citizen/RSI forums, the GOG website crashed several times yesterday due to traffic. Yeah, I think they'll get the hint...

Gotta agree. I tried X-wing back on floppy disc using keyboard and mouse at first. When I switched to the joystick, I got WAY better.

Just purchased a new USB CH Combatstick for X-Wing and TIE (and Privaterr, too!). I have a CH Flightstick that I use with my 486 and Pentium 200, but it has a 15-pin connector.
