X-Men Team Jumpsuits?

Dave from universal designs is doing the wolverine suit, and he has a licence for other marvel characters so cyclops may be done as well. If not you could get the wolverine suit and paint the trim blue

So, is the model in this pic really that buff or will this suit actually make you look like a bad-ass? If it's the latter, sign me up!

No, he's not that buff in real life. :)
Actually that's my brother...while he is well built, what you're seeing muscle wise in the pecs, as well as the higher and lower ab groups are all form molded muscles formed into the leather elements of the jacket. :)

There are inserts in the suit

They are not inserts as you suggested Adam, it's all formed leather. The muscle groups are not removable.
The inserts are CE approved 'removable' body armor and those are in both the jacket and pants.
Also we've included a removable quilted vest on the inside of the jacket...and as always the jacket and pants connect as the waist, basically making this a one piece body suit.

The suit is all 100% Leather and there are 4 different types including suede. The arms are actually simulated double sleeves...basically an outer sleeve over an inner sleeve so that bulk is due to the jacket but it's a real cool illusion and not 'bulky' leather, just like the screen used suit.

...as are the muscle groups. They too were part of the actual screen used suit as provided to us by Marvel. :) So I made sure to replicate them 'as is'.

We're just about ready to open the doors to these goods....and Iron Man's Mark V Suitcase suit is also nearly done. :)

I have a pleather X-men suit with the blue piping that I'll sell you if you are looking for something a little easier on the pocket book. Just send me a PM. But if you are looking for top notch quality, you cannot beat UD Replicas! You'll never even come close.

Hi David -

Could you please let us know if an X2 Cyclops suit is in the works? Or, would it be possible to commission UD for said suit? Thanks!

Sorry for the bump, folks.

David, your work speaks for itself; I can't wait for the X-Men suit to be released! Could you please let us know if there's a Cyclops suit in the pipeline?

Thanks!

Hi and sorry for the late reply. :)
Funny you should ask about Cyclops....:) I think it's an equally awesome suit and would make for a killer motorcycle suit 'product wise'...even if the over all look and appearance would remain unchanged from what was seen on screen. I think we'll see how Wolverine does and how the public reacts to it once it goes up on line for sale, then we'll consider others....females too. :)
Having seen the screen used Cyclops suit in person I can tell you it's just as crazy detailed as the Wolverine suit is....darker detailing too but I think a very worthy addition to the Wolverine Motorcycle suit....so personally I'd love to see it happen but it's too soon to say. :)

We'll soon see. :)
For now the Iron Man Mark V Suitcase suit is almost ready, and if the TDK Batman motorcycle suit was a reinvention of how leather and Kevlar are used in garment construction, well then for the Suitcase suit get ready for entirely new ground and something totally unexpected. I cant wait to debut it.

EXCLUSIVE TEASER TIME....where I say a lot without really saying anything....:lol

I have in my possession yet another fantastic screen used suit pertaining to one of our licensed properties that we'll be working on bringing to life soon enough. :)
And on that note I want to tip my hat to the artists in the costume departments because some of these suits 'as seen on screen' just don't convey the complexity and beautiful details that make up some of these outfits. In this case here....I am totally blown away and incredibly impressed, and I saw this particular movie at least a dozen times and never realized just how much went into it's costume development. Those guys are all true pioneers.
We're going to be working very hard to replicate the details and efforts that went into this next particular project of ours and we hope that you all continue checking in for new updates.:thumbsup

If you are on a budget you can check here...I believe it is pleather.

http://x-men-paradise.just-marvel-x-men.com/x-men-cyclops-costume-1-basic.html

I got one and it is well done.

Yeah, I actually got one of the pleather ones, too, some years back. :rolleyes

But after seeing UD's, anything and everything is just second rate. No offense to anyone, but the only thing closer to these X-suit replicas is if they were furnished by Marvel, themselves. You get what you pay for, and I'd pay an arm and a leg for a Cyclops from UD! <wink wink>

Ya hear me, David? :love

someone in our costumeclub has this and must say: looks great, but if I have to be honest, the UD is top notch...
But so is the price...

Still thinking about buying the TDK-suit!!!
great work!!! :love

I would love real leather myself but this one suits my purposes just fine. I need to find out if I can get some prescription lenses for the cyclops glasses I have.
