X-Men First Class Movie Discussion

Although i'm looking forward to the film, nothing about this trailer made me go "WOW!"..........except maybe the submarine bit......:$

You as partial to submarines as I am? I was thinking those underwater scenes looked pretty cool, especially when Erik was pulling the sub from the bay, screw first, and you saw the strain on his face. Aside from the constipation-face, I imagined the sub being as every bit as heavy as he felt it was.
 
This looks like its gonna make up for the crap fest of X3 in spades.


Yea some origins are being messed with but so far I haven't seen anything down right stupidly done. I wasn't happy at first but after the last few trailers I'm deffinatly looking forward to it.

No, Beast 'looked' normal except for having exceptionally large hands and opposible... toes? Anyway, he didn't become 'beastly' in the least until he took the formula. All it did was turn him blue, furry and animal-looking.

This is quoted from Wikipedia but this is what I meant: " Hank is born with a vast intellect, unusually long arms and legs, and unusually large hands and feet for a human; in fact, his body's proportions are comparable to those of a gorilla and later stories reveal his nickname in school was "Magilla Gorilla"."

It reminds me of an issue where the Russians had a sub near his base and he sank it with all hands later to raise the wreckage up to get the nukes out of it right around the time he pulled the metal off Logan's bones.
 
I don't remember where I saw this... it may have been on 4chan... but does anyone have that screen cap complilation image of First Class Xavior donning cerebro saying something like "What's this?" and then screaming "YARGHHH! MY HAIR!!!" :lol
 
That's the first official promo image for Riptide. Good for him. I'd like to see more second-stringers get a poster.

*Possible spoilers*
I can't tell, but at second glance and knowing some the abilities of Sebastian Shaw, that loks alot like Kevin Bacon wearing Magneto's helmet, and I'm going out on a limb here but the image on the yacht, where he's opening the case, should have the helmet. So I'm banking on the origin of the helmet to come from Sebastian Shaw and stolen by Erik. Don't quote me on this though.

I agree. Looks like shaw has the helmet first.

I just hope we get more than a fleeting moment of magneto in his full silver age costume.
