X-men: First Class costumes?

Yeah, it's hard to find the stuff in larger widths than a foot. Bah humbug. I may be settling for just textured yellow fabric if nothing else pops up.

I just emailed Seattle fabrics in hopes they may have a better answer. If they can ID the dark blue waffle weave as well as the thick yellow cordura type fabric. When I get a response, I'll fill you guys in.

Thanks, Tony! Look forward to hearing what they have to say. :)

Not a huge fan of this particular design solution but it's fun to see the attempt.

Maybe some big leather bracers would sell it as complete costume. Something just seems to be missing to his look. A better way to attach the cape at least. Looks like crumpled snuggie blanket wrapped around his neck from the front.

I'm going to see it again this week. Hopefully I'll be able to snag some higher quality pics of Magnetos costume.

Think Vanson would do a custom suit? There's a few that look similar, and they use Cordura textile. Bottom left sketch looks close

They'll do any custom suit for a fee...
On the same token though, I think you'd have to fetch the special hardware for it. ;)

I'll try to find all the close-enough (or cheaper) material n ask my mom n my aunts to try out the sewing
