X-men: First Class costumes?

The whole thing looks like a high end fan film. It looks like they are determined to ruin whats left of this franchise :cry

Yeah, I was expecting a thick accent. but then they'd possibly have to quickly delve into how he was recruited from Ireland or how he ended up in the states.
I'm assuming either he had already been casted after the fact, and couldn't pull of an accent or Matthew Vaughn wasn't comfortable with his Irish backstory included in the film.

That'll be my one complaint with the film as of yet. They Americanize everything! no one questioned why Nightcrawler was speaking German though he was in America. I'm Irish and I live in America, I was raised by my grandfather who spoke pretty heavily so people sometimes have to have me repeat stuff when I talk Lol but it's part of the character, Banshee has always been Irish

I've been mulling over the mysterious yellow material for a couple days now, and I'm leaning towards patterned/textured neoprene foam-rubber, like a wet suit for scuba diving or your mouse pad. If anyone else has other assumptions that might allude to a more plausible material, I'd love to hear it. DavidYR1, any thoughts, man?

Yep, I mean detailed ones as well. From head to toe, with screen accurate hardware and proper materials used. If you've not seen UD Replicas and their line of wears yet, head over and see all the hard work to get screen accurate comic film suits (and jackets, gloves, boots) to us fans is all about:
Universal Designs Ltd.

Hence why I'm not sweating it yet on a custom piece. ;)

I still plan on saving for a custom-sized X2/3 Wolverine battle suit.

I really hope others of interest start making these because I would LOVE to have one (The Banshee or Magneto one in particular!) but I don't know a thing about customizing costume, so I'd hoped someone else who knows what they're doing might like come here and find this and help the rest of us out with a step by step instruction guide or something, that would be sweet! Here are some more photos

I'm sure they'll be amazing. The things on their site are amazing. However, I cant spend $1000 on a costume.

Well, I can't afford it either, but I'm willing to bet I can save up for it, if I want it bad enough.

Thanks for more photos, Megabyte. The more I see, the more excited I become about this film, and the flight/battle suits. I just hope the film doesn't fall to the "too-much" curse, as there is alot to handle in the film and many new characters being showcased here. I strongly believe in Matthew Vaughn, even moreso since viewing Kick Ass last night. ;)

Aside from the 'based on the original comic suit' yellow color, I think they are evolving to become more practical. As these versions are designed around actual flight/test/pressure suits. So it may be just you.
