Coincidentally I was watching the cartoon Atlantis today and look what I found! Mausers, Carbines, a Flare Gun and old reflector flash cameras!

Found other examples of Star Wars props in pop culture? Post them here!

What an odd thread. Considering the time period of the movie, it would make sense they would have these things. I mean, these things existed before Star Wars, you know.:p

But I'll play along since we're listing things we've spotted in media that pertains to SW prop-ing. The last thing that I saw and really stuck out to me was the Tom Hardy flick about the Kray twins, and there's a shot in the film where there's a photo taken with a flash camera and the flash unit was a clear and distinct Heiland. The other one also to mind was in Bridge of Spies, you spot a few Graflites in there.

I actually noticed those too!

I forgot about this too - the wartime pieces, used for TFA recently, also showed up in a newer Sherlock Holmes movie.

I always smile when I see a broomhandle on the silverscreen :D

Well, there was Sterling in first RoboCop. MG42 in Saving Private Ryan. Karabiner 98k in X-Men. Lee-Enfield No 1 MK 3 in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. MG15 in Pearl Harbor. These are just few examples, there was A LOT more use of weapons like these in movies.

Seeing weapons from WW2 in a WW2 movie isn't really that weird though, right?

I see Sterlings all the time. Maximum Overdrive is one, and I'm blanking on others, but always cool when you see one.

The Sterling makes an appearance in Brazil

The STG 44 is featured prominently in Fury.. That's not one you see too often, even in WWII movies
