WW2 Warbirds

Fine Scale has some outstanding builders.
Hypescale.
Lots of sites that are aircraft exclusive.
I know there are a few for flying boats.
Some even specific to country (like just ww2 Japanese)

Google search models ww2.

If you are looking for real planes for reference then there are lots of sites that have full walk arounds.
If my other computer was working I could give you probably a few dozen sites to look at.

Again, Google the plane you are looking for.
Sometimes they lead to forums with links to specific squadrons or bomber groups with lots of reference pix.

If you want to see WW2 warbirds in person (almost always the best source) look up EAA.org or airventure.org for info on experimental aviation asociation fly-in in Oshkosh, WI. It's a long, but doable drive from Toronto. Just about every warbird out there, or close. Museums are great, too. If you want USA warbirds, Wright-Patterson in Dayton OH has a copy of everything the USAAC or USAF has flown, plus a few more.

http://www.largescaleplanes.com/

http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/

are a couple of website I know of.

There are also specific magazines like "Aces high" http://www.aceshighmagazine.com/index.html
and the weathering magazine and books like the Encyclopedia of Aircraft modeling Techniques
http://www.migjimenez.com/en/books/...delling-techniques-vol3-painting-english.html
A bit expensive but they are worth the price.

If you have any questions ask I might be able to at least point you in the right direction.
