Hello everyone, first post...!
Over the years I've completed a number of Star Wars projects, from 501st (UKG) cleared armour to scratch built lightsabers, but I thought I'd have a go at something a bit different.
I bought a Doomhammer toy (from the Warcraft movie) for £9, which quite frankly looked a bit rubbish and so I decided to improve it.
The left photo shows how it started and to the right is the finished item, made using:
- An old broom handle to replace the shaft.
- ABS cut to shape for the Frostwolf symbols.
- A piece of metal piping with a rubber grommet glued on.
- Two wooden rings cut and shaped from an old bed slat.
- Faux leather strip bought from etsy.
Once test fitted, it was sanded and sprayed using Gun Metal, then detailed and weathered.
A nice little project and total cost only £12.99!
Hope you like!
