Hello again guys.

As stated in my other posts I'm working on making a set of ANH tube graflex stunt and an obi wan shared stunt prop I've already ordered aluminum antennas for my prop stunt blades like try used In production but I recently learned that esb rehearsals used wooden blades as seen in this pic. I know you can get wooden dowels pretty much anywhere but does anyone know where I can get longer TAPERED dowel rods? Or how the best way to hand taper a standard dowel?

You could try to pick up a pool/billiard cue (sp?). Another option regarding the pool stick, is that many of them are two pieces that screw together. If you could match the threading, you could have a threaded stump coming out of the emitter and just screw the thin end of the pool stick into it. I don't know how sturdy that would be, but it might work.
