Wooden cutout boba fett I made

I October of last year my 8 year old nephew fell in love with boba fett.
So for his birthday In January I decided to make him something cool for
His room. While looking online for inspiration I stumbled across a wooden
Boba fett helmet cutout.
Using the picture as a starting point I got a piece of plywood and a great
Picture of a sideshow statue and then got to work.
After drawing, drawing and redrawing the shapes I was happy enough to
Start cutting him out. Right about then after everything was cut out
My brother in law states my nephew no longer likes boba fett but instead
Loves something called ninjago. WHAT!!!!
Time passes.
His birthday comes and goes with no boba fett cutout, just some ninjago
Lego plastic junk. Nothing homemade and awesome.
Then March came and I was inspired to finish him hoping someone
Would want home for their entertainment room or something.
The following pictures are my progress shots. He stands 6' tall half inch thick
Plywood. Any comments and questions are more then welcome. I hope you guys
Like him.
As a side note I got two commissions out of him. One for the Lich King and one
For war machine, so it wasn't a complete waste.

Very nice! Keep him for when your nephew likes Boba Fett again, fancies come and go like the wind at that age. :)

It's Boba Flatt!

But seriously, it's a great concept and brilliantly executed! Far more artistic than a standee or one of those Fathead things you stick on the wall, and truly unique!

That is such a brilliant idea. I made a life sized Dalek by cutting the silhouette out of plywood and painting it. I wish I had thought of this. That little bit of detail makes it look so real!!! Very, very awesome!!!!
