I don't mean to be a stickler but compare the ebay cyclops jacket to the Belstaff one in cut, design, how the stripes lay and you will see there is a large delta between the two.

As far as I know it will go X1 jacket first, then X3 because the jacket is so similar to X1, then X2, I dont know about Wested though.. Hopfully they can do one frmo X3 too.

OK, I'm getting ready to order a Vanson jacket. So I'd like to ask those who have done so themselves if there are any special instructions I should follow. Like the stripe color. At the beginning of this thread, Mantis said to ask for gold stripes, and a few pages later it says that the stripes should be orange. If I just order this jacket from the website will the stripe colors be screen accurate? Or do I need to request a certain color? This is a pretty big investment for me personally and I just want to be sure to get it right. Thanks,

Knightsaber, Dawn used to be at Vanson and we worked very hard with her to do proper research on the jacket in their archives....believe it or not the original jacket stripes were red....I kid you not. They then treated them and weathered them and they came out to be an orangy color but the Vanson color that matches best is called GOLD. These fit pretty true to size but I don't think they custom measure all aspects of the jacket anymore (which is unfortunate)....

Does anyone have pics of the original Vanson jacket with the red stripes? Also, I'd love to see pics of the copies that members have. My computer recently crashed and I lost all my reference pics(along with everything else, doh.).
