hey mate, i made my base from a P2 mold i had and made a plaster version and carved on that, i dont know what you could make your base from unless you make it from chicken wire and re-enforce it with resin and fibre mat or something like that, i know of a duck tape dummy you can search for on google if thats any help.

Simply awesome, great attention to detail, the texture is perfect, not like some hack took an ice pick to the thing. It certainly looks screen accurate.
:D

Fantastic job and you're out of work! Just start making these while their hot! That should help pay some bills. Looks like a lot of interest. By the way put me on the list for one. :D

hey man thanks for the advice. where could i possibly find a P2 mold? or how would i need to go about trying to sculpt my own. im thinking i just get an image drawn up and try to form a base (i would most likely be using wood) and carve that out to get the basic shape, them try and sculpt my mask?

that sounds like a realy good idea, adleast if its made of wood you will have a nice sterdy base.

and thanks for all your comments i never thought i would get such a good reaction to this so thanks

actualy i would like some advice from you guys, ok, should i mold the tri latser piece (on the image bellow) seperatly or on the sculpt. now im thinking it may be easier to attach lasers or LEDs if its molded seperatly but seeing its my first bio ive made i wanna get it right first time.

so what do you guys think?

just been testing out the silicone for the mold aswelll, its my first time using the stuff so hopefully i wont screw up too much.

hey bro i don have any experiance in making a bio but if i were you i do the tri laser thing separate it would make installing the laser easier at least i think so

yeah thats what i was thinking, youd be able to attach it to the tri laser piece and then to the bio instead of tying to line it up when its on the bio.

Also what I was thinking, but then again, I have no experience in molding/casting. Maybe you can drop a line to the experienced guys out there to see what they suggest.

ok so hear it is ive only got a couple of minor details to put on but heres the pic of pritty much finished, will try to get some better shots couldnt get my lighting fixed up as planned
